Refund policy
Last updated 26 September 2026.
Printed books
You may return a printed book for any reason within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unread, undamaged and in resalable condition. Write to e.cromwellsmith@gmail.com with your order number before sending anything back. We will reply with a return authorization and the correct return address. Returns sent without authorization cannot be credited, because we cannot match them to an order.
Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is the result of our error or of damage in transit. Once the book reaches our fulfillment center and passes inspection, we issue a refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping charges are not refunded except where the return is our error.
Damaged or defective printed books
If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, send a photograph to e.cromwellsmith@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. We will ship a replacement at no cost to you, and you do not need to return the damaged copy.
eBooks and audiobooks
Digital editions are delivered immediately and cannot be returned once the download link has been used, so all sales of eBooks and audiobooks are final.
There is one exception. If a file is corrupted, incomplete or will not open on a reasonable, current device, write to us within 14 days of purchase and we will either supply a working file or refund the purchase in full.
Bundles
Where a bundle combines a printed book with a digital edition, the printed portion follows the printed-book terms above and the digital portion follows the digital terms. A partial refund reflects the list price of the printed item only.
Order cancellation
Printed orders can be cancelled without charge until they enter fulfillment, which is usually within a few hours of purchase. Write to us as soon as possible and we will cancel it if it has not yet shipped.
